The chase scene! Cardiwen the witch chases Gwion bach after he accidentally consumes three drops of the broth that he was intrusted to stir. The characters morph through into various animal forms culminating in the conception of Taliesin. Caridwen however sickened with the sight of her new baby son she throws him in the near by river (Dyfi) in a basket.
