Elphin is locked in the dungeons and Maelgwn sends his disgusting son Rhun to defile Elphin's beautiful wife. With the power of foresight Taliesin warns the princess and a maid is dressed up to look like her to fool Rhun when he arrives. He is fooled and drugs the maid and cuts off her finger to take back to Maelgwn to prove her demise.
